The Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre can now accept certain types of e-waste for recycling and proper disposal. Residents from the Town of Petawawa, the City of Pembroke, the Township of Laurentian Valley, the Township of North Algona Wilberforce and the Sebastopol Ward of Bonnechere Valley can now bring Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) materials to the OVWRC's Hazardous or Special Waste Depot during normal operating hours. Please ensure that all personal information is removed from your computers before you drop them off.Click here to view the "Cleaning a Hard Drive" fact sheet. Businesses can also dispose of their WEEE materials free of charge, however we require 24 hours notice for quantities greater than 10 units.
