What Goes Where

Beginning April 1st, 2010 The Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre has expanded the list of e- waste materials that it can now accept for recycling and proper disposal. Residents from the Town of Petawawa, the City of Pembroke, the Township of Laurentian Valley, the Township of North Algona Wilberforce and the Sebastopol Ward of Bonnechere Valley can now bring Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) materials to the OVWRC's Hazardous or Special Waste Depot during normal operating hours or it can be dropped off during one of our mobile "Environmental Day Special Events". Businesses can also dispose of their WEEE materials free of charge, however we require 24 hours notice for quantities greater than 10 units.

Please ensure that all personal information is removed from your computers before you drop them off. Click here to view the "Cleaning a Hard Drive" fact sheet.
