The Hazardous or Special Waste Depot and Mobile Events are open to residents of the Town of Petawawa, the City of Pembroke, the Township of Laurentian Valley, the Township of North Algona Wilberforce and Ward 3 Bonnechere Valley.

Material Accepted: Paints, oils, oil filters, batteries of all sizes, propane cylinders, used needles & lancets (sealed in a non-breakable container, labeled needles), pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, fluorescent light bulbs, mercury thermometers & switches, fire extinguishers.  Containers must be 5 gallon (20 L) or smaller. 

Unwanted tires (9 per vehicle) and Waste Electronics can now be dropped off at mobile events.

Commercial and Industrial Municipal Hazardous and Special Waste accepted in small quantities by agreement only. Click here to access agreement forms.
