The Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre continues to operate the HSW Depot and Waste Oil Depots that started operation in 1991 under the Alice and Fraser Landfill.

The Hazardous or Special Waste Depot and HSW Mobile Events are open to residents of the Town of Petawawa, the City of Pembroke, the Township of Laurentian Valley, the Township of North Algona Wilberforce and the Township of Bonnechere Valley.
