The differential fee for loads of mixed waste effective January 1st, 2010.   Loads which contain recyclable, organic and/or construction and demolition material are charged $125 per tonne, which is $50.00 more per tonne than the regular landfill tipping fee.  To avoid the fee, waste generators will have to implement diversion programs to separate/sort recyclables, organics, and/or construction and demolition material.
