Spring Bulky Item Collection 2010

All acceptable items must be placed curbside on the Sunday specified below.

Collection trucks will pass by only once during the week to collect acceptable items.

Please Note: Scrap Metal & Appliances are collected by a separate truck to be recycled.  Please ensure all fluids & gasoline are removed from items (i.e. lawn mower).

Broken Glass and Mirrors    (safely packaged in a cardboard   box or rigid container)

Large Scrap Metal Items

(in a separate pile)

(BBQs, stainless steel sinks, bikes, exercise equipment, etc.)

Hazardous or Special Waste

    (paints, batteries, oil, propane tanks & cylinders etc.)

Leaf & Yard Waste

Construction Material

(drywall, shingles, wood,

concrete, etc.)

Renovation Material

(cupboards, windows, window frames, doors, non-metal sinks, tubs, toilets, bathroom vanities, countertops, vinyl siding,

flooring, etc.)

 

NO REGULAR GARBAGE

Electronic Waste (computers, monitors, televisions, stereos, telephones)

Material must not exceed 80 lbs. (36.28 kg), 27ft3 (.76 m3) or 6ft (1.83 m) and must be manageable by two (2) workers. All material must be properly bundled or packaged in a container with sufficient strength.
